CO-OP COLLABORATORY
2022-24. Community engagement and capacity-building project co-directed by seven non-market housing co-ops. We co-designed / delivered several internal board / co-op educational events, three art engagement projects with local artists, several social + knowledge bridging events (barbeques, community planning book club), four coop-oriented EDI learning labs, and hosted several creative engagement sessions (storytelling, poetry, music). Outreach to identify ways to more meaningfully include underrpresented / marginalised community members in decision-making was integral across the project. Funded by the Community Housing Transformation Centre.
JUST COMMUNITY
2022-23. Social science x cross media documentary project on False Creek South, an iconic, experimental 1970s waterfront community under threat of displacement, in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Canada Council for the Arts Research + Creation Grant.
